Despite packing in a bulkier frame, the Ionic is quite comfortable to wear and its overall weight footprint is considerably far lesser than many of its competitors are now offering.
Made from brushed aluminum that curves around the edges, the Ionic does come with a pair of antenna lines etched on its sides. Fortunately, the impact the lines make are minimal and it really doesn’t affect the overall great style of the watch. The Ionic is simply not as good looking as an apple watch however, it does have some style appeal that is well worth boasting.
The featured UI is quite similar to what the Fitbit Blaze runs on, and I loved how easy it was to maneuver around it even though there were some small stutters and freezes here and there. The touchscreen works great and its responsiveness was quite good too. The swiping UI might pose a little learning curve for the first-timers, however, it’s rather easy to get used to and once you get the hang of it, it’s a rather easy breeze to get around with.
